A little about me

I have been working as a psychiatric- mental health nurse practitioner since 2017 after graduating from Eastern Kentucky University. Prior to this, I obtained my BSN from the University of Kentucky in 2012. I have experience working in the outpatient and inpatient psychiatric setting . I am originally from Eastern Kentucky, but have made Louisville my home.

I aim to provide holistic care to discover all factors that may be impacting your mental health. I encourage an open , judgment free environment where you are able to discuss any hardships that are impacting your quality of life. I believe in individualized treatment plans and understand no two people are the same. I aim to tailor your care with this approach and look forward to getting to know your story.

My training and specialty work includes

I have experience in treating generalized psychiatric conditions in the adolescent and adult populations. During my years of working in the hospital I have gained experience with chronic mental illness as well as crisis stabilization. I have also worked in the outpatient setting since 2017 with a various range of diagnoses .

I am most comfortable working with

I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. I understand each circumstance is special and I like to incorporate issues with any stressors that may be impacting your mental health. I as well welcome the LGBTQ+ community !
