A little about me
I graduated from Morehead State University in 2018 with a master’s degree in clinical psychology before coming to Louisville where I spent the first few years working on therapy and research with a primary focus on people with ADHD. Most of my current work is focused on psychological assessment, but I also enjoy working with clients through therapy.

My goal is always to approach therapy as a collaborative process, recognizing that each person is the expert on their own life experience. I believe deeply in working with clients to develop more self-compassion and striving toward goals aligned with each client’s own values. Since therapy is a process of growth and change, it can be uncomfortable at times, so I strive to provide a safe and respectful environment for clients to share and express themselves.

My training and specialty work includes
I enjoy working with people from a variety of backgrounds and therapeutic concerns. My specialty area is working with people with ADHD, as well as sexual orientation minorities and gender diverse people. I also have experience working with religious trauma as well as with spirituality and faith in general.

I have training in a variety of evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical and Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, and I usually incorporate mindfulness into therapeutic work.

I’m most comfortable working with
ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, trauma, psychosis, LGBTQ+, and more. I tend to work with adults for therapy and all ages for psychological assessment.
