Providing Treatment In: Kentucky

A little about me
I graduated with my masters in social work from LSU in 2012. I’ve lived in LA, AR, NM, and FL; NM is where I discovered my love for nature and the outdoors. I enjoy being outside because it’s where I find peace and relaxation. When it’s nice outside, you can find me at the beach playing in the water and soaking up the sunshine. I’m a fan of board games, bowling, darts, reading, horror movies, hip hop music (really all music), and tarot cards. I also love costuming for Mardi Gras and other fun parties. I have a cat named Booger who likes to walk on my head when I’m asleep.

When you come to your appointment with me, you might experience
comfort, acceptance, and compassion. To me, the most important part of the therapeutic process is the relationship you cultivate with your therapist. I work hard to create an environment that is judgement free; it’s important to me that clients feel emotionally safe and trust is at the forefront.

My training and specialty work includes
trauma-centered therapy. My experience includes providing therapy and support to survivors of sexual assault, grief, depression, anxiety, self-harm, and stress management. I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy). I started a sex therapy training program in 2020, so I have some knowledge/training on the topic. I believe in destigmatizing sex and I invite clients to explore their sexuality and sex life in therapy as needed.

I’m most comfortable working with
people 16 and older.

In my free time you might find me
at the beach, playing disc golf, bowling, listening to music, playing animal crossing, or spending time with the people I love.
