A little about me …

I graduated with a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Western Kentucky University in 2020. Prior to that, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Louisville in 2017. I’ve had experience working with all age groups, with a range of different problems. I enjoy cultivating a space for clients to feel comfortable expressing themselves, while helping them form treatment goals to work toward transforming their day-to-day lives.

When you come to your appointment with me, you could expect to work toward a therapeutic relationship based upon compassion and honesty. You could expect for me to listen and ask questions. You can expect for us to work together to form treatment goals with action items to work toward those goals. You can expect to learn new skills and practice outside of sessions to form new, healthy habits.

My training and specialty work includes …

My training and specialty work includes using CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) to treat clients for a range of problems including symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I’m also trained to treat clients struggling with racial trauma using the Kniffley Racial Trauma Treatment Model.

I’m comfortable working with clients of all ages, especially those struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

In my free time you might find me …

In my free time I could be catching up on one of my favorite TV shows, or spending quality time with loved ones. I enjoy engaging in some form of self care, which could include getting outside to take a mindful walk, journaling, or spending some quality alone time [at Target].
