Providing Treatment In: Kentucky
A little about me
I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a Masters in Counseling and Human Development in 2015. I became independently licensed in 2021. I have experience working in an outpatient setting and I have been providing telehealth services since 2019. I view trust and consistency as key components to building a successful therapeutic relationship. I provide a safe place to assist others in finding validation and acceptance in their daily lives.
When you come to your appointment with me, you might experience
a more relaxed, laid-back environment. I pride myself on providing a safe and judgment free zone where individuals can feel more at ease as they begin to work on sharing their feelings and experiences. It can be incredibly difficult to start the therapeutic journey, so I value meeting people where they are at and assisting them with finding the path that is most beneficial for their needs at the present time. My empathy and compassion guide my person centered approach and when appropriate I will include humor into our work. Our first session will include lots of information gathering on things such as what prompted beginning therapy, family history, and anything that assists us with building rapport, as this will guide us as we work on finding the right path for treatment. There is no concern that is too big or too small to bring into a session. I strive to provide an environment where it is safe to feel any and all of the emotions that you are dealing with while we work together on how to best address your needs.

I’m most comfortable working with
adults 18 years of age and older from various backgrounds that are dealing with any type of mental health concerns. I am comfortable working with the “hard” things that can be difficult to discuss. I have an all-inclusive approach to therapy and I provide a safe place for everyone to come and share the struggles that are weighing them down. I am competent working with trauma, anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, substance abuse, grief, changes in life stages as well as any other struggles that are causing concern.
In my free time you might find me
outside. I love being in the woods or near water, I find it refreshing. If I’m not outside you will probably catch me reading a book, or exploring some place new.
