A little about me …
I was born and raised in Kentucky and am currently a graduate student pursuing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Spalding University. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Georgetown College. I deeply value connecting with others in the therapeutic setting and am continually inspired by human resilience and the power of relationships—especially the therapeutic one.

When you come to your appointment with me, you might experience …
Interactions with someone who truly loves this work and thrives on building meaningful connections. I strive to create an environment free of shame, guilt, or judgment, where clients feel safe sharing openly. As BrenĂ© Brown (2015) reminds us: “If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive.” You can expect warmth, energy, and genuine interest from me, along with a belief in your ability to create the change that feels most meaningful to you.

My training and specialty work includes …
I have experience working with clients navigating life transitions, substance use, and anxiety and depressive disorders. I have also worked extensively with LGBTQ+ clients and am especially passionate about providing identity-affirming care.

I’m most comfortable working with …
A wide range of clients. I approach therapy through a lens of social justice and curiosity, creating space for people to share their identities in ways that feel natural to them. I especially enjoy working with adolescents through adulthood, with a particular focus on young adults navigating life transitions.

In my free time you might find me …
Spending time with my dog, Dunkin, who keeps me active and always brings me joy. Quality time with friends and family is important to me, so you’d probably find me connecting with my loved ones over a good meal, a nice cup of coffee, or a simple phone call. I’m also an avid reader and enjoy discovering new books to add to my ever-growing stack. And when I need something lighthearted, you’ll often find me rewatching my favorite comfort show, New Girl, and laughing at the same jokes as if it were the first time.
